As an Indian Classical dancer, Chandreyee’s vision is to spread the joy of dance to underprivileged communities in Minnesota, so that they are able to express and balance their emotions through dance. To Chandreyee, dance means narrating stories, including her own, through fluid gestures, facial expressions, eye and body movements. Through her dance performance, Chandreyee showcases ways that culture can be expressed through dance. She believes dance bridges gaps and strengthens bonds between diverse groups of people.
